City of Palmdale to Host Turkey Bowl Field Day Events

The City of Palmdale will host two special free Turkey Bowl Field Day Events in celebration of Thanksgiving

The first will be held at Domenic Massari Park, 37716 55th St. East, on Monday Nov. 25 and the other will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at Marie Kerr Park, 39700 30th St West. Both events will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Park staff will mark off football field areas and provide footballs for families to come and play in their own Turkey Bowls.  Challenge your neighbor, family friends, or park staff.

“Who has the best team to take away the top prize?” asked Senior Program Leader Joi Christy. “Come and get a fun head start on Thanksgiving and get in some exercise before the big meal. Be sure to check in, be social and share your game day photos with the hashtags #TurkeyBowl, #ParksMakeLifeBetter, and #CityofPalmdale.”

For more information, please call the recreation and culture office at 661/267-5611, Monday through Thursday between 7:30 am and 6 pm.
