Accounts Receivable is responsible for centrally processing monies, ensuring funds are received when due, and properly accounted for and safeguarded. 

Returned Checks 

The City of Palmdale assesses a $25.00 returned check fee for the first returned check, and a $35.00 fee for returned checks thereafter.

If you would like to pay an outstanding balance on a returned check, please submit your payment in cash, credit card, money order, certified check, or cashier’s check — personal checks cannot be accepted.

If you are paying in person, please stop by our office located at 38300 Sierra Highway, Suite A, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We are closed on Fridays.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover payments in person or over the phone for your convenience. Please call the Finance division at 661-267-5440, or visit our offices Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

If you prefer to pay with a money order, certified check or cashier’s check, please make your check payable to City of Palmdale and direct your payment to:

Transient Occupancy Tax 

If you would like to pay a past due Transient Occupancy Tax Return balance, please submit your payment in cash, personal/company check, credit card, money order, certified check, or cashier’s check.
