Footsteps 2 Brilliance
Footsteps 2 Brilliance is a free app containing ebooks and games devoted to helping your kids develop their reading skills. Sponsored by the Palmdale Unified School District.
Freegal
Freegal allows patrons to access a collection spanning over 15 million songs, music videos, and audiobooks from more than 40,000 music labels worldwide including Sony Music, Epic, RCA, and Columbia. The free application is available for library cardholders and can be downloaded in the Apple® App Store and Google® Play store.
HelpNow Online Tutoring
Free live homework help every day from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Kids, teens, and even adults can connect with a tutor for free and get help with homework, test preparation, or even résume suggestions. Hoopla
With Hoopla, Palmdale City Library cardholders may access over 800,000 titles in the formats of audiobooks, eBooks, comics, movies, and television programs. Content may be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device, or platform by downloading the Hoopla digital app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast, or Roku. All content is accessible via Hoopla digital’s mobile app and online at www.hoopladigital.com.
Mango Languages
Learn any of 70 world languages from Arabic to Yiddish on the Mango website. There’s also a great section teaching English to non-native speakers!
MasterFile Elite
MasterFile Elite Complete provides full-text periodicals covering an extensive range of subject areas including business, health, education, fitness, sports and leisure, personal finance, general science, multicultural issues, DIY and fashion.
Middle Search Plus
